Batik is an ancient art form, dating back in history over 2000 years. Karen couples the traditional method with constant exploration of the possibilities of wax and dye.
At Spruce Bog, Karen will be displaying original works, giclees, perpetual birthday/anniversary calendars, art cards and sets of Christmas cards.

Heidi Hehn
Heidi is a professional painter, sculptor and jewellery designer. Her canvas originals depict the northern landscape, its people and wildlife and she is best known for her images of ravens and old trucks. Wildartsweb publishes and markets her limited editions and art cards which are also available through Taku Graphics and other fine retail outlets.
Aunt Fran's House
Yukon may be the land of the midnight sun, but it was the long, dark winter evenings that prompted Fran to return to a craft taught to her many years ago by her grandmother. Her hand-embroidered cards are a creative and stunning blend of traditional embroidery stitches, the string-art of the 60's, and contemporary scrapbooking techniques.
